Fashion trends come and go, but personal style endures.

No, that’s not a corny quote inaccurately attributed to a fashion designer of years past. But it is a good lens to view this post through.

I never want my videos or posts on trends to influence you to completely change your wardrobe or style.

I share my predictions, my observations, and my insights to inspire you to look at fashion and style from a different perspective.

That’s always my hope at least.

Even if I say something isn’t currently “trendy” or “in style” that doesn’t mean I want you to throw what you may have into the trash.

I don’t want to change the way you dress. I want to change the way you think.

The discussion of fashion trends is not a new thing, but the rapidity of social media has made it seem that way. It appears we’re confronted with new trends monthly, weekly, and now, even daily.

Though social media has changed the way we discuss and explore fashion trends, don’t let that stress you out.

It is possible to consume trend content without convincing yourself you need each one.

Experimenting with trends only works if they mesh with your lifestyle, your preferences, and your authenticity.

If not, it’s a “no.”

So sit back, grab your favorite December beverage, and let’s dig into some upcoming trends that you should feel absolutely no pressure to adhere to — unless you want to!
