If you’re not on TikTok, you may not be familiar with the Things I Find Incredibly Chic trend, but that’s what I’m for. (:

What’s chic, like what’s beautiful, is certainly in the eye of the beholder.

I am definitely someone who goes through phases. This is evident in my style, my taste, and my preferences in basically every category. After all, if we’re not continually evolving — what’s the point?

My nightmare is to wake up in a beige house with beige clothes and a beige life. I want color. I want print. I want texture. And most of all, I want to be surrounded by things that feel less like “things” and more like the life I’ve lived.

Maybe it’s the libra in me, but I want to change my clothing, my opinions, and my mind, constantly.

A comment I get on a lot of my fashion trends videos is: we are so going to look back on this and cringe.

To that I say: who? Not me.

While I may look back on my style from different eras and have a more seasoned point of view. I’ll never cringe. I love to see how my style and taste continues to evolve, and I hope you feel the same about yourself.

Excluding yourself from trends and whims in order to protect your life from cringe is no way to live.

And just so we’re clear: I don’t equate “chic” with Quiet Luxury *derogatory*

Quite the opposite.

I feel that for something to be chic it needs character. It needs resonance.
