We’ve all been there. You need to run to the store after working from home all day. You’re hangry. Unshaven. And more than a little disheveled.
You have just enough time to:
A. Scroll on TikTok for 25 minutes
B. Take a quick body shower and pull your hair back
or C. Stare into space and chug your third Diet Coke of the day.
Which do you choose?
Unforch, a lot of us reach for A. and C. more often than we’d like to admit. But I’m here to ask you — nay — plead with you to at least try pull off B.
Obv the superior option (D. [not pictured]) would be to have showered in the a.m., done your complete morning skincare routine (including gua sha!), shaved your entire body, deep conditioned your hair, and adorned yourself with a chic matching set.
Sigh.
We’re doing our best here!
While I do think it’s important to stick to your rituals most of the time. It’s literally not possible to do it every day (for us mere mortals, that is!).
But it is possible to take 30ish minutes to yourself to get your shit at least PARTIALLY together (especially before public consumption).
