“I have a $400 Ref credit and am going to my 10yr college reunion in Boston in June. Any recs for a daytime outfit for walking around campus?”
Sandals; Purse; Bangles; Vest; Pedal pushers
Guys, I know not everyone is into capris, but I promise they can be very flattering. (These are technically pedal pushers.) Reformation and I have been on rocky terms lately, but these pieces look 100. I am obsessed with a vest top — always cool girl, always chic. If you don’t love the capris, though, this would also be fab with a mini skirt, any denim, or linen pants. I shared these Amanu dupes recently, and I am still so into them. We love a toe jewelry moment! Also obsessing over this Tory Burch bag. The literal perfect choice for spring and summer! I own these Ring Concierge silver bangles (currently on sale!), and I can’t recommend them enough. You could easily add a blazer or sweater on top if it gets chilly indoors! I love this whole look.
“4th of July”
Top; Shorts; Sandals; Bag; Cuff
This outfit screams fun, effortless, and put together. Yes, please! Staud really needs to sponsor me because I have been singingggg their praises lately. Their whole summer collection has me in a chokehold. This top, shortie-shorts, and bag are included, and I literally am obsessed with each piece. I know the bag is a statement not for the weak, but you know I always say each outfit needs one item that has a little *zhuzh*. I made a post a while back on how to give your looks more sauce, and this bag is a great example. The girls who get it get it. You know I am a huge proponent of the jelly trend, and these are the first ones I’ve seen that have a square toe — visually interesting and so, so stylish! The cuff really speaks for itself. Loving this brand so much right now. You could swap the shorts for jeans or a denim skirt. You could also switch the top out for a plain white tee if you want to make it more casual. Your options are endless!
“An outfit for Beyonce”
Earrings; Boots; Top; Shorts; Bag
Can I be honest for a sec? I hate live music, but I am actually jealous that you’re going to this — how fun!! If you could only buy one piece here, I would go for the top. It’s so cool and definitely on theme for the concert without being costume-y, ya know? I am obsessed with the idea of pairing it with these affordable earrings and these flirty fringed shorts — so good! Like I said, not a concert girlie, so I have no idea what is appropriate for a bag situation?? But if it needs to be clear and crossbody, this is so the vibe. I want it immediately. For shoes, I thought cowboy boots would be a little too obvious (not hating if you want to go that route, though!), but I adore these Frye dupes. I also think these would be insane if you want more of a color contrast. I live for a chunky black boot paired with tan. I would go for whatever you find the most comfortable!
“Beach wedding ‘Beach formal’ midi or maxi”
Dress; Clutch; Earrings; Heels
This dress is simply breathtaking. The fringe is so fun for a beach wedding. My only concern is having to deal with the sand if the ceremony is on the literal beach, but it’s so gorgeous I think it’s worth the hassle! The shoes are thematic without being cheesy, and they are easy to slide on and off, if needed. The earrings and clutch match perfectly if I do say so myself! I love all of these pieces individually, but together, they’re really something special.
“Casual Greece Honeymoon Outfits”
Coverup; Swimsuit; Bag; Sunglasses; Sandals
Giving Ref one more chance with this stunning specimen! Praying the quality is as good as it appears! Pairing it over this chic one-piece is a sure-fire way to achieve honeymoon perfection. You can also style it over a slip if you’re not taking a dip. ;) This bag is huge. Truly huge. But I think that makes it the ideal choice for vacay! I love it as a clutch, but it’s even more practical with its strap. I’ve shared these strappy sandals before in a different color, and I am equally into these. You can style them all summer long. These sunnies are def a splurge, but they look worth it. Really worth it. Happy honeymooning, lovebirds!
“Anything for summer in super hot humid weather”
Top; Shorts; Earrings; Bag charm; Sunnies; Bag; Sandals
As a southern gworl, I totally get this plight. Natural fibers are our friends! I know linen can feel a little “done,” but I promise it’s always in style and easy as hell to elevate, which we love. You know I like a set. You can style it together as such or pair the top with a skirt or different short. And you could easily wear these shorts with this top or a tee for a different vibe. The key to dressing up linen is adding in meaningful accessories. Raffia and linen are a match made in heaven. This bag charm is a fun way to add personality (the fish is adorable!!!). These coveted flip-flops are back in stock (they’re slightly different, but I think I like this version even more!). These earrings are elevated yet cool, and I personally adore this sunnies brand. I don’t care what anyone says, oversized sunglasses will always be chic.
If I didn’t get to you this time around, I will of course be doing more styling Q’s in my Stories, as always, and I will be sure to make this a regular series on here if you love it!
Happy, happy weekend! :))
