Trends Your Closet is Missing
fun pants, beaded bags, satin galore, and more
You know my motto: trends are friends.
They’re not meant to be this scary, evil thing.
Trends get a bad rap because of the absurd rapidity of fast fashion. And while that is completely valid, trends themselves are a natural part of life.
Fashion, like every other industry, is meant to adapt to user needs and desires. Thus, trends exist to improve our lives.
I’m certainly not saying, jump on any and every trend and endlessly overconsume. But I do think the participation in said trends can be fun and overall acceptable if you’re doing so through the lens of your own personal style and not buying a bunch of sh*t you’re not actually going to wear.
