Best of Pre-fall Fashion Trends

Pre-fall is an interesting style moment because it really does run the gamut. Some outlets report on color trends: red, brown, etc. While others focus on textures and silhouettes — all of which seem to be a little all over the place for 2024. Another factor is, of course, location. As I’ve mentioned, pre-fall where I reside is really just summer with a vest on. There are no jackets or coats here unless you’re going to a cold theater (@ me last night watching Trap). We can’t wear boots yet even though they’re s’cute with dresses and shorts. In the South, we instead focus on integrating fall colors, jewels, and shapes (see my article on this here).

Though I don’t get to experience all of the pre-fall or fall trends in full, I do love to shop them for y’all. (And yes, I am a little jelly.)
